first and foremost.
to be honest, i dun fancy hoobastank.
they are sucky, i feel.
especially the vocals, doug.
not only does he looks weird,
he doesn't sound good to me either.
his live voice sounds so fake and erm, unsoothing
he's trying sooooo hard to produce a nice voice.
its as though his voice is only nice on cd.
its what they call the term "studio voice" if i not wrong.
his voice is edited to sound "nicer"

did you know that crude oil cost 70US$/barrel?
which makes it 44UScents/litre.
convert it to local, its 70Singcents/litre crude oil.
the petrol i fill, Shell V-power, costs $2/litre before discount.
from a source, i found out the govt tax makes out to 15%.
after deduction of the absurdly large govt tax,
the petrol will cost $1.70/litre.
and after the 10% discount they give,
my supposedly Shell V-power would cost $1.53.
that is a staggering 50cents/litre difference!!
do u know how much difference that is??
a full tank of mine is around 15 litres which costs $30.
but with the "original" price, it would go for $22.95.
thats a $7 difference mine you!!
i could fill another 4.5 litres more with the "original" price,
or i could fill another 3.5 litres with the current one.
on another note, if anyone's noticed, we can roughly
estimate the cost of refining the crude oil into petrol.
since the crude oil price was 70cents/litre,
and the processed petrol is at $1.53/litre,
that amounts to 83cents to refine 1 litre of crude oil.
BUT, these refining company need to run on profits.
and since these company earn so damn much,
i assume and think that the cost of refining crude oil
would be way lesser than 83cents.

not to mention, the end products of refining crude oil
is not only just petrol but theres other products as well.
lubricants, bitumens, marine products etc etc.
no wonder these companies are stinking rich. gosh.
