and so the family went out together yesterday.
looked for our baju kurungs for the raya.
and as per normal, the siblings
will joke and gurau among each other.
indeed, there was laughter and smiles.

but beneath the laughter and smile of mine,
there's just this sense of incomplete-ness.
it just wasn't like before anymore.
the gurau-an's still there but it's different.
something or rather someone was just missing from the picture.

indeed it is.
your absence is the answer to it all.
there's that missing piece of jigsaw puzzle.
and nothing or nobody can fit its place.
there's still that empty piece in me,
which shall remain as it is.
